L'Estartit and fishing, a historical link

With this exhibition we offer you a look at the art of fishing in L'Estartit. Fishing led to the birth and development of the population from the 16th century, and was the most important activity until the 1960s. This legacy continues to be very much alive today thanks to the L'Estartit Fishermen's Guild, which maintains an artisanal fishing activity that respects the environment.
