Adoption of the Medes islands

Since 2009, Portitxol School has been “adopting” the Medes Islands with its fifth-grade students. Throughout the school year, pupils explore the marine environment of the islands, study their ecological value, and take part in activities aimed at improving and preserving this unique natural space. It’s a hands-on way to learn, engage, and care for our environmental heritage.
